I suggested a getaway to WB for the Good Friday weekend and was considering resorts in Batam, Bintan or Malaysia. I decided to skip resorts in Malaysia as the jam at the customs will be horrendous for the long weekend, hence it's either Batam or Bintan.
I have shortlisted a few resorts including Canopi, Montigo, Telunas and Tempat Senang. However some are either fully booked or there is surcharge for the public holiday. Hence, I settle on Tempat Senang as the rate remains the same.
Tempat Senang is a spa resort at Sekupang and offer 12 different theme rooms. I booked the 3D2N standard room package IDR7,180,000 for 2 pax which includes breakfast, 3 hour spa and land transfer from Sekupang terminal. I chose the Indonesia room which has a king size bed whereas other standard rooms only offer queen size bed. Credit card is required for securing the booking and the full amount can be paid using cash or credit card (subject to 2.9% convenience fee) at the resort.
Tempat Senang has recommend booking of ferry ticket through Batamfast as this ferry company is more reputable and reliable. I choose to return from Batam Centre Terminal instead of Sekupang Terminal as we plan to spend some time shopping at Mega Mall shopping centre which is just beside Batam Centre Terminal after checking out. The Mega Mall is 30min from Tempat Senang and taxi ride cost IDR100,000. The return ferry ticket cost S$57 inclusive of taxes.

- S$350 for accommodation
- S$150 for meals & others
