Bali trip – Epilogue

Bali is really huge to the extent that traveling from south to the central region takes at least 1.5hr. The road in Bali is mostly single lane hence cars cant drive fast. Even though we stay at Ubud which is consider the Central of Bali, we still spend quite some time travelling on the road. Hence the location where you stay is important. It's advisable to hire a car with a driver as it's difficult for a tourist to drive in Bali. The road sign is not clear and there are just too many side roads. Moreover it's not expensive to hire a car with a driver in Bali.

Bali is a destination which caters to different type of tourists. I don't think that I will feel bored if I were to revisit Bali in the future. I can visit Lovina for whale watching, river rafting or temples visiting such as Pura Besakih which I did not include this time round.

As Hindu is the main religion in Bali, pork dishes are commonly found in Bali. This is a spark contrast to the other parts of Indonesia. I highly recommend the pork ribs from Naughty Nuri’s Warung and Grill & famous balinese smoked duck from Bebek Bengil Restaurant. The babi guling from Ibu Oka Babi Guling is worth trying but nothing to shout about.

Bali is only 2hr 40min flight from Singapore and the air ticket is cheap due to numerous airlines serving the Singapore-Bali route. I will be back, Island of Gods!
