Waked up at 6.30am today to watch the sunrise as i missed it yesterday. But too bad, the sunrise is blocked by the clouds, haiz.... Went back to sleep again since no sunrise to watch.
Slept until 9.30am then wake up and packed our belongings. After that, we went to have our breakfast. As we had the complimentary breakfast yesterday, we decided to have something else today. In the end, we settled for noodles.
After our breakfast, we went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not. There are lots of bizarre events and items which we can see inside here.
Then we went to the casino. This time the security guard ask for my IC, today I look younger than 18 meh? Haha... I played lucky wheel again but no luck. We left shortly after that and check out.
On the way down, we stopped by Chin Swee Caves Temple 清水岩庙 which is situated on a 28-acre plot of rocky forested land donated by Genting Group founder the late Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Lim Goh Tong. It is located at 4,600 feet above sea level and is 5–10 minutes’ drive down from the peak of the mountain.
On the way down, we wind down the car screen to enjoy the breeze. I like this type of weather where there is sun yet the air is cool.
Next, we are going to Ipoh, Joe's hometown. The journey from KL to Ipoh is abt 2hrs. On the way to Ipoh, we passed by Batu caves, this will be on my wanted to visit list. As we did not had our lunch, we ate the tibits which we had yet to finish in Genting. We had a toilet break on the way and reached Ipoh around 6pm.
After settling down our belongings, we head for dinner together with Joe's mum, sis and niece. Joe brought me to try the famous Ipoh chicken. He said to him is so so lah but since it's so famous, I must try it.
I tried the chicken and found that it's those 白斩鸡, nothing special leh. I like the chicken leg skins with onions and carrots which taste a bit sour and sweet.
The famous chicken
After dinner, we headed back to joe's home and rest. I slept at around 11plus and have to wake up early tomorrow for the dim sum.
