Bangkok trip – 26 Dec 10

Today is shopping day again. As most of the stalls in Chatuchak markets are open only on weekends, I reserved Sat & Sun purely for shopping. We decided to explore those non-clothes area first to take a look at what are the things sold in Chatuchak. It range from pets, daily necessity, household displays, flowers, kitchenwares, paintings etc.

Our initial plan was to watch Muay Thai at Channel 7 Stadium. In the end, we decided to continue with our shopping spree. As we walked further down, we reached Section 3 which is the designer area. The clothes here are more expensive so I didnt bought anything here.

We passed by a dessert shop and decided to try it out. The dessert looks like "Chin chow" but taste bland, hence brown sugar is added.

Direction: BTS Thong Lor Exit 3, walk a short distance to Sukhumvit 55 and turn left. Head down soi 55 and the shop is located on the left side. Opening hours: 24hrs)
