Chiang Mai trip – 22 Oct 14

As we have a late morning flight to catch, we just have breakfast and then wait till the pre-booked taxi to fetch us to the airport.

Although Chiang Mai International Airport is the 4th busiest airport in Thailand, it doesn't look like one though as it's not crowded at all. We checked in our baggage and then went to explore the terminal. The domestic and international terminal are located in one building but separated into different section.

There is a massage shop inside the transit area offering foot or back and shoulder massage and 1hr massage cost THB400 ~ S$16 which is relatively expensive.

There is free wifi and TV at the waiting area which helps to pass the time while waiting for the flight. There is also water cooler outside the toilet.

Luckily it only rain on the day when we are leaving Chiang Mai otherwise it is a hassle to venture outdoor.

Hubby had chicken while I had fish for the flight meal. There was no wireless inflight entertainment in the return flight again. =(

We landed at Changi Airport after 3hrs and waited quite a while before collecting our baggage from the baggage carousel.
